True chrome plating requires several steps. There are two options with traditional chrome plating. The first would be a customer who currently has painted, machined, or polished wheels and would like to get them plated. The second involves someone who currently has chrome wheels and has curb damage. The chrome plating process starts with a stripping process. The wheel is then restored to repair any damages. The plating process continues with a chemical etching, Copper plating, buffing, bright nickel application, chrome solution, and final rinse. This process can take several days to complete. Black Chrome

Black Chrome Plating is the same process as Chrome Plating. The only differance comes with the tinitng to obtain the smoke coloring. Black Chrome can take a little longer than traditional chrome plating.

Chrome Wheel Exchange

There is no need in having to wait for your factory wheels to be re-plated. You can recieve your new chromed wheels in advance and simply exchange them for your current factory rims. Aftermarket wheels can cost up to 4 times the cost of just having your factory wheels chromed. The value of your car will increase by keeping factory OEM wheels installed.
